Let’s go back to our projects that we started a while ago.
I assume you have finished your list, you have contacted all of them personally and now you are sending out emails to them with valuable tips concerning your market.
By the way: you also can send prospects some samples of your products. It is amazing what that can do!
The fourth project is to invite the people you got connected to for lunch, one by one (if they live closer by, otherwise you send them samples with some little cards with the short presentations I’ll show you below). That is a wonderful way to become acquainted on a more personal basis, present them with your business and let them know that it would be a great opportunity for them to become your partner.
When doing this, I urge you to have fun! Talk about anything and everything and try to get to know things about your contacts and their family members, pets, what their line of business is, where they went to school and so on. Ask questions and let them talk and tell. And do all this BEFORE you start telling about what you are doing. And the emphasis is on TELLING them what you are doing.
Once “the ice is broken” it will naturally come to the opportunity for you to talk about your business.
Ask them if they know anybody who would like to “Own Their Life” instead of only having 2 hours a day that they really own because they had to leave in the morning for their work, they had to do some errands before going home and if you are a woman, you still had to take care of dinner, kids, husband and household. How about owning your life by starting your own business?
Did you notice that I didn’t say that you should ask THEM if they would want to own their life? I do that because it puts your prospects at ease and they will ask you how they could start their own business as your partner.
Give them a 40-60 second presentation about your business and your company’s compensation plan and how it would work out pretty well starting out with just sponsoring this way:
You sponsor two people per month and those two people each sponsor two people and so on. In a short presentation it would look like this:
2×2= 4×2= 8×2=16×2= 32×2=64×2= 128
… now imagine how it would boom by just sponsoring one more person:
3×3= 9×3=27×3= 81×3= 243×3= 729×3= 2187
… and how it would explode by just sponsoring another one (just one more person):
4×4= 16×4= 64×4= 256×4= 1024×4= 4096×4= 16384
… and now imagine sponsoring another one (just one more person):
5×5= 25×5= 125×5= 625×5= 3125×5= 15625×5= 78125
Not to mention the customers you will pick up along the way while sponsoring these people into your business.
These are fun little presentations you can write down on a paper napkin for demonstration while having lunch, dinner or other meetings with your prospects.
People usually have a short concentration span when it comes to others talking about their business opportunity to them. That’s why these little presentations are so great. They don’t take much of their time and still makes them curious.
Once you sign up people it depends on how motivated you are to teach your downline how you are doing it, and how they can copy you.
It can take you and the people in your downline anywhere from 6 months to years to get there. It depends greatly on how many people you sponsor each month.
Our first example could be done in just 6 months! It really is about how motivated you are to work towards owning your life!
But if you wouldn’t work toward one of the above outlined goals at all, you would be at the same standard of life in 6 months or even in years as you are right now. Nothing would have changed! You still would only own about 2 hours a day of your life!
Working towards one of the above outlined goals will change your life forever! The point is:
DO IT! DO IT NOW!
